Close by in Enniscrone is a magnificent golden sandy beach suitable for bathing.
On the other side of the bay are Ross Beach and Lacken strand. All these beaches have been awarded the European Blue Flag. There are many other beaches along the long stretch of coastline from Achill in West Mayo to Rosses Point in Sligo for a refreshing dip, quiet picnic or evening sandy stroll.
